  1. Cognitive function assessed with Paper-Pencil-Tests and the TAP. Decline >20% to the 12-24 h preoperative values is presented in numbers (% of total). Paper-Pencil-Tests are Recall of Digit Span (DS), Digit-Symbol-Substitution-Test (DSST), Trail Making Test A and B (TMT A, TMT B). Subtests of the TAP were analyzed in terms of mean reaction time (RT) and number of valid reactions (VR).
