H 2 concentration in the blood and air samples from the skin surface. The samples were taken before, during and after H2 administration during 30 min intravenous infusion (right) and 40 min inhalation (left), for 20 min with 2% H2 gas followed by additional 20 min. with 4% H2 gas. Slower changes of H2 concentration are noted in the air samples from the surface of the skin as compared to the changes in the arterial and venous blood.
