Carbon monoxide application diminishes the levels of SFlt-1 and sEng in the placenta. Inhalation of 50 ppmCO led to a significant diminution in the expression of the VEGF soluble receptor sFlt-1 at protein level (a, b). CO treatment also diminished the protein levels of sEng as analyzed by Western Blot (c, d). Data are presented as single dots and medians.
